Cosplay timeline

I started cosplaying what feels like a lifetime ago. My cousin and best friend Ebony told me about it and after we went to our first convention Wai-con in cosplay together, we have never looked back. I decided to do a time line with a few of my cosplays, though I have missed some haha.

My first cosplay was Rikku from FF X-2 which I brought, but the then later I fixed it up. My first couple of cosplays such as Kasumi, Simca and Noriko were all made from sheets and random fabrics I could find. I was just so excited to made these cosplays I could wait to make enough money to buy the fabrics haha.

I hit many bumps along the way to where I am now. From people I looked up to at the time telling me to quit… to simple lack of self confidence.

But I’m glad that I stuck with it and continued on with what I love. I have met some of the most amazing people through this hobby. Some friends I will no doubt keep for the rest of my life.

I’m looking forward to the rest of 2013 were I will push myself to be better and to make new friends.
