Want to see how i painted it? [link]
I painting i did tonight.
When i started i had no idea what i was doing. just kinda drawing shapes and figures. when i started adding colour it seamed like a ocean,
Then i got an idea of what i wanted to portray.
Even though she is a mermaid she still need the helmet to breath. the octopuses are trying to help but are only holding her down.
She cant breath in her own environment.
well thats what i was trying to get at.

Looks very interesting , i kinda see a mermaid wich feeks prisoner in her world, and perhaps the helmet helps her breath air from the place she wants to be. And those evil tentacles keep troubling her, maybe making her life miserable, but as long as she has the helmet she has hope, hope of finding herself and her freedom o.o
